METHODS FOR STUDYING THE TIME COURSE OF CELL DIVISION IN CLONES FROM INDIVIDUAL L5178Y LEUKEMIA CELLS,

Abstract

A step-by-step procedure is given for embedding L5178Y cells in fibrin gels so that individual cells may be observed repeatedly from their initial single state up to the formation of a colony. (The method is a modification and extension of the method of Schindler). An experimental example of the types of information obtainable is presented. (Author)
