Information in this directory was abstracted from the Annual Report (April 1965-March 1966) of the Medical Research Council (MRC) of the United Kingdom, which was printed in August of 1966. The complete report (of 377 pages) can be obtained from The British Information Service, 845 Third Avenue, New York, 10022, at a cost of approximately $3.00, postage extra. It is an excellent source of information about research work in medicine and related fields in the UK, and would be very useful in the library of any academic department or research institution in those fields. An attempt was made to extract from the report all research which would appear to be of interest to workers in psychology, psychiatry, sociology, and neurology. (Author)
