INVESTIGATION OF SOLID STATE DEVICES AND MATERIALS.
Abstract
The investigations carried out under the terms of this contract consist of three principle areas of endeavor: the characterization of semiconductor devices in terms of gain, impedance, frequency response and noise and unique applications of these devices to circuitry; a study of semiconductor and metal-semiconductor junction parameters; a study of materials and fabrication techniques leading to more efficient diode lasers.
