THE IMPACT OF SOCIAL AND TECHNICAL CHANGE IN BUILDING,

Abstract

Using an unusual format as a 'simulation technique,' the report attempts to present the technical and methodological issues in the environment in which they exist: a human, politically motivated, games-oriented environment, in which ideas are bought and sold much more on the basis of personal relations than on the basis of solid conceptual and technical content. Although it deals with technical and methodological issues as its subject content, the object content of the report is the dialogue of a hypothetical conference which presumably is intended to deal with decision-making about the issues.
