STUDIES OF HIGH DENSITY PLASMA WITH GASEOUS LASERS.

Abstract

The object of the work was the development of a diagnostic tool--the spherical laser interferometer--to a state where it could be used reliably for the study of high density plasmas. This goal was successfully achieved. A brief review is given of plasma studies using this tool.
