Abstract
It is shown that when experimental records of the amplitude fading of signals from the ionosphere are made by the method proposed in (1, 2), the results must be analyzed critically. The paper includes the description of an experiment that permits rather accurate determination of the characteristics of ionospheric drifts with the most general assumptions about the statistical nature of the ionosphere.
