RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF PARALLEL HYBRID MODELS,

Abstract

In a program of research and development of simulation models for the Air Force Cambridge Laboratories, the contractor has studied methods for establishing computer models for problems submitted by laboratory scientists and Data Analysis Branch mathematicians and implemented them for solution on the AFCRL Parallel-Hybrid Computers. Eighteen problems were submitted during the year. They were from the fields of electromagnetic ray propagation, mathematics, orbital mechanics, space physics, dynamics and circuit design. Significant results were obtained in twelve of the problems. The remaining six problems are under continued study. (Author)
