THE DYNAMIC LOW CYCLE TESTING MACHINE (DESIGN AND CALIBRATION).

Abstract

The design and development of a loading device for subjecting a reversed shear specimen to a pulsed dynamic load is described. The development includes a calibration technique to confirm that design criteria were met. A relationship between plastic deformation and peak tensile load is presented. (Author)
