RESULTS OF THE EVALUATION OF HARTREE PARAMETERS OF HYDROGEN-LIKE ORBITALS (NEKOTORYE REZULTATY PO OPREDELENIYU KHARTIEVSKIKH PARAMETROV VODORODOPODOBNYKH ODNOELEKTRONNYKH VOLNOVYKH FUNKSII),

Abstract

A quantity whose variation leads to Hartree self-consistent field equations is used to evaluate the parameters of hydrogen-like orbitals. The values of these parameters are given for isoelectronic series of 1s2s, 1s2p, 1s(2)2s, 1s(2)2p, and 1s(2)2p(2). The approximation inherent in these new values of the parameters is compared with the parameters as evaluated by variation of the quantity that leads to Fock self-consistent field equations in the application of the Fock variation method.
