THE AUREOLE PART OF THE SCATTERING INDEX IN THE ATMOSPHERIC SURFACE BOUNDARY LAYER (OREOLNAYA CHAST INDIKATRISY RASSEYANIYA V PRIZEMNOM SLOE VOZDUKHA),

Abstract

The chief results of measurements of the scattering index in the atmospheric surface boundary layer are presented for scattering angles from 10 min to 10 degrees in various regions of the spectrum. It is established that there are three qualitatively different optical states of the atmosphere: haze, mist, and fog. The processes of development and dispersal of fog are traced. (Author)
