MANUAL FOR PREPARATION OF A POROUS PTB SOCKET WITH SOFT DISTAL END

Abstract

A simplified procedure for preparing PTB sockets is described. Preimpregnation of the stockinet and evaporation of solvent prior to layup results in a stronger, more porous socket.
