SUPERCONDUCTING BEHAVIOR OF SEMICONDUCTORS.

Abstract

The purpose of this program has been to study the occurrence of superconductivity in systems wherein the density of conduction electrons may be varied over a wide range of values, such as degenerate semiconductors and semi-metals, and to attempt to relate the experimental results obtained in these investigations to available theoretical models based upon a knowledge of the normal state parameters of the materials.
