CLINICAL, LABORATORY AND FIELD STUDIES ON DRUG RESISTANCE OF PLASMODIUM FALCIPARUM.

Abstract

The report details clinical experience with 5 patients naturally infected with P. vivax, 2 with P. falciparum (natural infection), and experimental infection of two neurosyphilitic patients with a new strain of P. falciparum from Goias State, Brazil. All infections were resistant to standard drug therapy. (Author)
