PLASMA FRONT STUDIES.

Abstract

A summary is given of work done in 1966-1967 on behavior of electric shock tube plasmas. Mention is made of magnetic interaction experiments (flux transport and induction generator), arc spectroscopy, and shock flow experiments at both high and low density. Throughout, the importance of ejected driver material is emphasized; the flow is basically blast wave in character. (Author)
