THE TACTICAL AND NEGOTIATIONS GAME: A SIMULATION OF LOCAL CONFLICT. AN ANALYSIS OF SOME PSYCHOPOLITICAL AND APPLIED IMPLICATIONS OF TNG SIMULATION RESEARCH.

Abstract

The Tactical and Negotiations Game (TNG), a simulation of local internation conflict, is discussed in its more applied and psycho-political implications. Differences between controlled (experimental) and free simulations are reviewed. Simulation procedures in the TNG and independent variables employed so far are given. Some of those experimental results that may be of interest to researchers and policy makers with theoretical and applied psycho-political interests are reviewed. (Author)
