MAST COMPONENTS INVESTIGATION: MAST COUPLINGS PHASE.

Abstract

Quick disconnect couplings for vertical mast assemblies are surveyed with the intent of optimization for future mast designs. The sleeve joint is selected as one most suitable for military applications. Two typical sleeve joints are examined to form a basis for planning future phases of the program. (Author)
