RESEARCH ON PLASMADYNAMICS AND MAGNETOGASDYNAMICS.

Abstract

Report summaries are included on the following topics: theory of spherical and cylindrical electrostatic probes, magnetohydrodynamic flow in the shock tube boundary layer, supersonic flow of compressible plasmas in a magnetic field, ionization processes in strong shock waves, and magnetohydrodynamic flow near a stagnation point. Other unpublished results are also summarized. (Author)
