DATA REDUCTION PROGRAM FOR FREE PISTON ENGINE TESTS,

Abstract

A program, written in FORTRAN IV for the IBM 360 computer, for the reduction of data from free piston engine tests is described, along with a brief description of the engine and its instrumentation, and the derivation of the various equations used. Input data are in the form of punched cards, and output, in tabulated form, is on the standard line printer. At the option of the user, some of the more important output data may, in addition, be plotted on the EAI dataplotter. (Author)
