REGULAR PITCH SCREW OF GAS TURBINE VESSEL 'PARIZHSKAYA KOMMUNA' (VYNT REGULIRUEMOGO GAXOTURBOKHDA 'PARIZHSKAYA KOMMUNA'),

Abstract

Russian industry has produced a modern power plant with RPPS (regular pitch screw) for work with non-reversible gas-turbine engine of 13000 hp, possessing sufficient reliability and providing the vessel high working and utilization qualities. The RPPS construction which was made and tested makes it possible to pass to series construction of RPPS for power plants of 13000-15000 hp, and to draft powerplants of 20000 hp and more. The utilization of RPPS, which work with the power of the main 13,000-20,000 powerplant, on modern marine gas turbine, steam turbine and diesel vessels insures the achievement of a complex automation of the steering of vessels, makes it possible to use progressive weight-shifting main powerplants through stabilization of heat regimes and thus raise their norms, pressure and thermo-economic indices.
