ON THE INTERGENERIC COPULATION OF IXODID TICKS (IXODIDAE),
Abstract
A case of the intergeneric copulation between hungry females of Haemaphysalis concinna Koch and males of Ixodes persulcatus P. Sch. is described. The copulation occurred in the test tube as a result of isolation of H. concinna males. (Author)
