METHODOLOGY FOR ASSESSING THE HAZARD OF ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION TO ORDNANCE: CONSTRUCTION OF MATHEMATICAL MODELS REQUIRED IN A PROBABILITY APPROACH--GROUND PLANE NUMBER ONE EXAMPLE,

Abstract

The purpose of this report is to present the results of a statistical analysis of research test data collected recently on ground plane number one at the Naval Weapons Laboratory, Dahlgren, Virginia. These data were collected for the express purpose of being used to construct suitable mathematical models for predicting the voltage at various locations on that ground plane. Examples presented show how these models can be used to plot predicted voltage/ampere of antenna current contours on the ground plane surface for several combinations of the variables which were included in the model construction.
