DOPPLER SIGNAL ANALYSIS AND PROCESSING TECHNIQUES FOR MODIFIED 'PORCUPINE' C-BAND PULSE DOPPLER RADAR.

Abstract

The report deals primarily with various doppler signal processing techniques for the Porcupine Weather Radar System. Continuing emphasis is placed on digital data reduction techniques including the fast Fourier transform method of spectral analysis. Practical methods of handling the vast amounts of data gathered by the Coherent Memory filter are discussed. Initial work on the computer analysis of the Velocity Azimuth Display including program documentation is also included. (Author)
