STUDY OF SONAR ARRAY PROCESSING TECHNIQUES.

Abstract

The report is concerned with the use of state-variable techniques for solving Fredholm integral equations, and the application of the resulting theory to several communication problems. It discusses the following areas: the solution of homogeneous and nonhomogeneous Fredholm integral equations; optimal signal design for additive colored noise channels; optimal smoothing and filtering with delay; smoothing and filtering for nonlinear modulation systems; and estimation in a distributed environment.
