EFFECT OF MIXING LENGTH ON ROTARY FLOW INDUCTORS,

Abstract

A series of model tests were run using a variety of shroud configurations to determine the effect of primary-secondary flow mixing lengths on rotary nozzle ejectors. Maximum augmentation was achieved at mixing lengths of 3.5 to 4.0, whereas, non-rotating ejectors require mixing lengths of 6 to 10. (Author)
