LIFT OF A FINITE JET-FLAPPED CASCADE OF AIRFOILS AT LARGE JET ANGLES.
Abstract
An expression for the lift coefficient of a cascade of a finite number of jet-flapped airfoils with connecting endplate was developed by analytical and semi-empirical means. The analysis is independent of angle of attack, and is verified experimentally for a six-vane cascade at zero angle of attack with a jet-flap angle of 90 degrees. (Author)
