SPECTRUM OF TURBULENCE AND CONCENTRATION FLUCTUATIONS WITH CHEMICAL MIXING AND REACTIONS.

Abstract

A method of cascade decomposition of eddies is applied to the study of mixing processes with chemical reactions. The eddy viscosity and eddy diffusivity are derived as functions of the rate of reaction. The spectral laws of turbulence and the concentrations are calculated for various mixing processes and reactions. (Author)
