PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST STANDARDS FOR WOMEN MARINES.

Abstract

Four previous reports on the physical fitness of Women Marines were submitted. The purpose of this study was to analyze the findings of the several related studies, to interpret the significance of data for the specific purpose of physical fitness testing, and to make specific recommendations to expedite implementation of an improved physical fitness testing program for Women Marines. Utilization of the modified suggested physical fitness test battery for quarterly testing of all individual Women Marines, except those 35 years of age and over, is recommended. Suggested test standards are provided for WMs in two age groups (18-24, 25-34). Additional recommendations for utilization of the test battery are offered. (Author)
