THE ROTATION-INVERSION SPECTRUM OF AMMONIA,

Abstract

The rotation-inversion spectrum of ammonia (NH3) was observed in the wavenumber region between 35/cm and 240/cm, with a resolution of approx. 0.08/cm. The K splitting (due primarily to centrifugal distortion) is extensive, and many lines due to single transitions are observed. The best resolved of these unblended lines are used in a rotational analysis. (Author)
