VISCOUS EFFECTS AND HEAT TRANSFER IN SEPARATED FLOWS.

Abstract

A brief review of the research conducted is presented. The moment or integral method was extended to include viscous-inviscid interactions on highly-cooled surfaces with laminar boundary layers and to adiabatic, laminar near wakes. The laminar separation and reattachment phenomena on concave curved ramps was treated and the effect of finite ramp length on this interaction was investigated. Five papers and four theses were published under the contract. (Author)
