CODE-PULSE DECODER WITH CORRECTION OF ERRORS (KODO-IMPULSNYI DESHIFRATOR S KORREKTSIEI OSHIBOK),
Abstract
In the case of error correcting codes, the decoder must work out not only the particular code word but also those words differing from the given one by one, two, or more letters. Since the pyramidal or matrix decoders require usually a large number of elements, the authors outline the feasibility of the construction of code-pulse error correcting decoders for codes transmitted by sequential or parallel pulses. They analyze the possible solution for such decoders for a varying number of correcting errors and discuss their operation as a function of the parameters of the circuitry. One of the solutions can decode both parallel and sequential signals. Another is constructed from standard cells. (Author)
