TRANSIENT SIMULATOR.

Abstract

The report describes the design and operation of a transient voltage simulator used in the evaluation of voltage transient suppressor circuits or networks such as zener shunt, linear series regulators or cut-off type regulators. The simulator is capable of high current pulses variable in amplitude and duration. The report also shows the performance of the simulator as designed and recommends future modifications for added versatility. (Author)
