INVESTIGATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS ON PURE FLUID AMPLIFIERS.

Abstract

The report gives a detailed account of the performance of twelve typical fluidic amplifiers, six bistable and six proportional, when subjected to severe environmental operating conditions. Test conditions included, temperatures to 1500F, 40g sinusoidal vibration, 150 decibel sinusoidal acoustic excitation, and 180g shock. Performance changes during testing are discussed. (Author)
