STANDARD HARDWARE PROGRAM MIN-TERM GENERATOR MODULE,

Abstract

The report describes a voltage and pin programmable function generator of the min-term type. Two complete min-term generators are contained in one Standard Hardware Program (SHP) Size 1A module. Any logic function of three input variables is obtained by the voltage or pin programming of the eight control inputs on either of the min-term generators. This permits more efficient implementation of control logic than is possible with the interconnection of individual gates with all inputs and outputs brought out to individual pins. It also permits dynamic function changes through use of voltage programming. (Author)
