FIBER OPTICS REMOTE SIGHT FOR ASSESSMENT OF GUNNER PERFORMANCE.

Abstract

A remote sight that enables an instructor to visually assess the tracking capabilities of a gunner by using a separate but similar remote sight presentation is described. The sight utilizes a fiber optics bundle and a revolutionary method of image enhancement called, 'wavelength multiplexing.' The resolution of this sight is better than a conventional fiber optics bundle by a factor of two. (Author)
