A HIGH PRECISION LOGARITHMIC AMPLIFIER USING SAMPLING TECHNIQUES,

Abstract

An analysis and design of a versatile periodic sampling logarithmic amplifier is presented. The design uses the decay of a voltage in an RC network to generate a precise logarithmic response and employs the cascading of several stages to increase the dynamic range of the design. Accuracies greater than those obtained by the common approximation methods are obtained. (Author)
