AUTOMATIC PROCESSING OF INFORMATION RECEIVED FROM PULSE NAVIGATION SYSTEMS WITH THE AID OF ELECTRONIC DIGITAL TECHNIQUES (AVTOMATICHESKAYA OBRABOTKA INFORMATSII. POLUCHAEMOI OT IMPULSNYKH RADIO-NAVIGATSIONNYKH SISTEM, S PRIMENENIEM ELEKTRONNOI TSIFROVOI),

Abstract

The article deals with the basic problems of automatic processing of data received from the radio receiver of a pulse navigation system (automatic scanning, automatic tracking, measurement). It is shown that information-processing devices based on digital engineering display a number of advantages over analog devices. The information losses associated with the quantizing of the continuous random process are analyzed. The concept of efficiency of the quantizing device is introduced. The relation of this efficiency to the quantizing step is established. (Author)
