IDENTITY AND 'THE DIFFERENCE'

Abstract

In his book, 'The Difference of Man and the Difference It Makes,' Professor Mortimer J. Adler considers both aspects of the mind-body problem and the moral consequences of possible settlements of the mind-body problem. This paper considers Professor Adler's views on the mind-body problem primarily with respect to the Identity Thesis.
