EFFECT OF MIXTURE FORMATION ON THE COMBUSTION PROCESS OF GASEOUS FUEL IN A HIGH SPEED STREAM (VLIYANIE SMESEOBRAZOVANIYA NA PROTSESS VYGORANIYA GAZOOBRAZNOGO TOPLIVA V VYSOKOSKOROSTNOM POTOKE),

Abstract

When organizing the combustion process in a high speed stream (M approx. = 1) mixture formation plays a substantial role. In preliminarily mixed systems, the burn up of combustion components behind the critical section is more intensive than in unblended. When passing through the critical section the mixture of reaction components, and consequently, their depletion (burn up) are not increased. (Author)
