APPROXIMATION BY PERIODIC SPLINE INTERPOLANTS ON UNIFORM MESHES.

Abstract

Explicit formulas for approximate interpolation, differentiation, integration, and Fourier coefficients, based on interpolation by polynomial splines on uniform meshes, are given. Precise approximation errors, derived from Fourier series expansions, are established. (Author)
