EMERGENCY DENTAL TREATMENTS BY MEDICAL OFFICERS ON ISOLATED DUTY

Abstract

Dental problems requiring treatment occur during Fleet Ballistic Missile submarine patrols with an average frequency of about three per patrol. There is no dental officer aboard. Therefore this manual has been written to assist the medical officer or hospital corpsman who must treat these cases.
