SINGLE PULSE ENERGY MEASUREMENTS.

Abstract

A technique for measuring the energy in a single electrical pulse or burst is developed. The preferred method employs an electrothermal converter as a detector, the output of which is amplified and integrated in a ballistic manner. Calibration is based on a generated single pulse whose action is obtained from dc measurements. A complete instrument is described and some observed measurements are given. (Author)
