DEVELOPMENT OF A CORROSION CONTROL TOUCH-UP KIT FOR INDIVIDUAL AIRCRAFT

Abstract

A Corrosion Control Touch-Up Kit was developed in order to provide fleet activities with equipment and materials to counteract corrosion on aircraft surfaces as soon as detected, thus providing a means whereby aircraft many remain in service until the next scheduled PAR. The kit described herein is considered satisfactory by the fleet and the Naval Air Systems Command.
