Abstract

The study is an attempt to utilize the expansion of pressure fields into a series of Chebyshev polynomial with a view to establishing prognostic ratios to currents. The results of multiple correlation of elementary pressure fields to currents for various periods in advance are listed. The calculated currents are compared with the observed currents. (Author)
