DESORPTION OF OXYGEN FROM VIRGIN CDS SINGLE CRYSTALS.

Abstract

Typical desorption data of amu 16 from virgin CdS single crystals is presented for two classes of crystals as determined by their electrical properties. Thermal desorption energies are found in the energy range of 0.87 eV to > with temperatures of maximum desorption between 405K to > 700K. Surface average of amu 16 can be over two monolayers. Several desorption peaks are attributed to oxygen. (Author)
