RESEARCH ON HIGH TEMPERATURE MATERIALS AT THE NATIONAL BUREAU OF STANDARDS,

Abstract

The National Bureau of Standards, with support from the Advanced Research Projects Agency of the Department of Defense, has begun a program on High Temperature Materials. This program includes projects on properties of high temperature materials, projects on their preparation, and others designed to explain basic phenomena limiting the use of materials at high temperatures. A summary of the progress in this program is given. (Author)
