THE USE OF INTERFERENCE SEPARATORY REFLECTORS IN FLUORESCENT MICROSCOPY,

Abstract

The brightness of the fluorescent picture observable in the microscope has a substantial importance for fluorescent microscopy. Both the ability of the eye to differentiate the form of the most minute structures of a preparation and the ability of the eye to discriminate fine color shades depend on the brightness of the image to a great degree. Considerable difficulties are commonly encountered in producing adequate brightness of picture in the fluorescent microscope. (Author)
