ON CASES OF BOTULISM DUE TO HOME-MADE CANNED FRUITS AND VEGETABLES

Abstract

A study was made on the epidemiology of botulism in the U.S.S.R. The study indicates that botulism occurs as a result of the consumption of food products prepared in the individual's home. The main source of this ailment is fish products and in rare cases meat and vegetables.
