METHOD FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE ALUMINUM HYDROXIDE ANTI-ANTHRAX VACCINE AND TESTS OF THE RESULTS OF ITS PREPARATION AT-LARGE (METOD IZGOTOVLENIYA GIDROOKISALYUMINIEVOI VAKTSINY PROTIV SIBIRSKOI YAZVY I REZULTATY PROVERKI EE V SHIROKOI PRAKTIKE),

Abstract

It was proved by multiple tests and experiments that the new anti-anthrax vaccine possesses stable cultural and biological properties and that it is durable. A method was elaborated for the determination of the properties of the aluminum hydroxide anti-anthrax vaccine by testing them on guinea pigs for immunogenicity. Mass vaccination of agricultural animals was conducted in seven oblast's and krais of different zones, and the harmlessness of the aluminum hydroxide anti-anthrax vaccine was proved. Based on the results obtained after the vaccination of animals with the aluminum hydroxide anti-anthrax vaccine conducted in 1954 and 1955, it is evident that the mentioned vaccine produces a longlasting and stable immunity against anthrax.
