BIOINSTRUMENTATION.

Abstract

This report deals with space-oriented bioinstrumentation, medical monitoring, and biotelemetry. Some of the items, while not specifically space-oriented, nevertheless are potentially applicable to manned spaceflight. The current trend in Soviet space-oriented biomedical monitoring is directed toward creation of a kind of biomedical early-warning system which would enable ground-based biomedical specialists to detect danger signals in time to take proper countermeasures or, if necessary, to terminate the mission ahead of schedule.
