AN ELECTRONIC OPTICAL INSTRUMENT FOR INTERPRETING AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHS (ELEKTRONNO-OPTICHESKII PRIBOR DLYA DESHIFRIROVANIYA AEROSNIMKOV),

Abstract

The report describes a patent for an electron optical device for interpretation of aerial photographs. It contains a closed television circuit by means of which the image is reproduced with automatic brightness control and contrast control, and is equipped with instruments which insure the stereoscopic scanning of the images and the outlining of their details. It differs from other devices of this type on that for the purpose of accelerating and increasing the interpretation quality in a closed circuit system there is an electronic-modulator which contains mechanically blocked potentiometers at its output, whose dials are calibrated in units of the elements of the external orientation of the aerial photographs.
